Vintage Italian modular sofa by Rossi di Albizzate, 1970s
Vintage modular sofa from Italy, designed by Rossi di Albizzate in the 1970s. This modular sofa consists of 5 elements, including a corner element, and has a rounded, curved shape.
This enormous sofa, with its rounded, organic shapes, is elegant and very comfortable. The original velvet upholstery is in very good condition with minimal wear consistent with its age from the 1970s; there are a few small, but minimal, stains.
Rossi di Albizzate is an Italian furniture brand (founded in 1935) that collaborates with renowned designers to create high-quality, contemporary seating. Key designers for the brand include Matteo Thun, Marcello Cuneo, Giotto Stoppino, Ammanati & Vitelli, and Bartoli Design. The company was founded in 1923 by Giuseppe Rossi.
