Product description
Vintage Italian silver plated "Owl" ice bucket by Mauro Manetti.
Very decorative collectors item. Owl in perfect condition. Original "reservoir" in which the ice was done is missing. Hence the price. Can also be used without reservoir. For now replaced with glass weck jar.
Mauro Manetti was an Italian designer famous for his unique ice buckets created in the 1960s and 1970s. His designs were often inspired by nature and featured detailed shapes such as pineapples, owls and other animals.
Manetti's ice buckets were usually made of cast aluminum, often silver-plated or gold-plated. They combined functionality with artistic appeal and are now sought-after collectibles in the vintage design world. Well-known designs, such as the pineapple and owl, remain popular with collectors and design enthusiasts.
