Product description
Vintage Italian silver-plated "Owl" ice bucket by Mauro Manetti.
Very decorative collector's item. Owl in perfect condition. The original "reservoir" in which the ice was placed is missing. Hence the price. Can also be used without the reservoir. Temporarily replaced by a glass preserving jar.
Mauro Manetti was an Italian designer, famous for his unique ice buckets that he created in the 1960s and 1970s. His designs were often inspired by nature and featured detailed shapes such as pineapples, owls, and other animals.
Manetti's ice buckets were usually made of cast aluminum, often silver-plated or gold-plated. They combined functionality with an artistic appearance and have since become sought-after collectibles in the vintage design world. Famous designs, such as the pineapple and the owl, remain popular among collectors and design enthusiasts.
