Beautiful two-tone mid-century modern glass art bowl on a foot. Are you looking for a unique design piece for your interior? This stunning hand-blown fruit bowl/decorative bowl is a beautiful example of Italian glassware from the 1950s / 1960s (attributed to the Murano / Empoli region). The most distinctive feature of this bowl is the two-tone technique: the deep amethyst-purple base flows elegantly via the slender stem into a wide, iconic bowl in a vibrant turquoise color. An iconic color combination that fits perfectly in a vintage, Hollywood Regency, or modern interior.
Origin: Italy (Murano / Empoli style)
Period: 1950s / 1960s (Mid-Century Modern)
Technique: Fully hand-blown glass art (clearly recognizable by the authentic, rough pontil mark on the underside of the foot).
Condition: In very good vintage condition. No chips or deep scratches. Only light, normal age-related wear (scuff marks) on the underside, which confirms its authenticity.
