This vintage Italian soup tureen is truly beautiful. Made around the 1960s by Giovannis Filber (signed on the bottom), it features that typical Italian Capodimonte ceramic style, with a ceramic rose ornament on the lid. Although originally intended for soup, it can also be used for sauces or side dishes. Or as a decorative centerpiece in a French country, Baroque, or mid-century interior. And don't forget the boudoir decoration... why not use it as a jewelry dish?
PLEASE NOTE: the rose on the lid unfortunately has some damage (see photos) and the bottom of the bowl has slight crazing in the glaze (see the last 2 photos). Otherwise in very good condition.
