Stylish industrial swivel chair from the 1960s/70s in good, functional condition. This model was originally used in a hair salon, but is also ideal for a doctors office, workshop, studio, or shop because it doesn;t take up much space and is easy to move thanks to its five casters. The foot brake is practical; it can be stopped either via the edge bar or the pedal. There is no seat height adjustment in the chair frame, but the backrest can be adjusted from 50 to 83 cm using the guide rail. The backrest has a vertical joint and adapts to the angle of the backrest. An unknown manufacturers logo can be seen on the backrest locking screw. 58 cm, top edge of backrest approx. 98 cm (with 5 cm of play upwards), backrest width approx. 34 cm, seat cushion diameter approx. 33 cm, depth from cushion edge to backrest adjustment knob approx. 47 cm, seat cushion height approx. 9 cm, height of swivel chair base from floor approx. 14 cm, total weight approx. 22 kg. The upholstery of the swivel chair is pleasantly soft, yet stable and firm. The cover is black imitation leather. The black upholstery has a tear on the side, which is concealed by the black foam covering underneath. (See detailed photos for signs of wear and tear) The chrome-plated brake bar is in good condition with no rust or damage. The round base plate with 5 castors also has no major scratches, the paint on the swivel chair base is scratched. The industrial swivel chair has a low center of gravity thanks to weights in the base plate and can be disassembled into two parts (seat + footrest). The seat weighs approx. 6.5 kg, the swivel chair base weighs approx. 25.5 kg
