This Set for 6 people is a rare gem - as it was introduced by IKEA in 1991 and only produced for one year! Design by Ehlen Johansson
This set was seen in Star Trek and became an iconic piece for collectors.
4 decades after, still is a modern and sophisticated set!

No longer in production
IKEA, the Swedish furniture megachain, requires little introduction. The first IKEA in the United States opened in 1985 in Pennsylvania, and expanded to California after purchasing STØR Furnishings International in 1992. While now ubiquitous in US homes, most of the American public was unfamiliar with IKEA designs when DS9 premiered in 1993. This may be why set decorators were able to get away with using IKEA products so liberally in the show. Their STRATEG flatware set was used in several episodes of Deep Space Nine.
These are increasingly hard to find even in single pieces. A set rarely comes up for sale. In generally very good condition with some utensil marks and light scratches from use.

In very good vintage condition, minimal signs of wear, none considering the age. Very good condition. No damages, with some tiny light scratches from use as a second hand set.
