A very beautiful vintage example of this classic IKEA lamp (model G609).
It is not entirely known whether this model dates from the 70s or 80s, but this model remains a classic.
The lamp is in very nice condition, with very limited signs of use. This type of lamp is also known as a ‘fishing rod lamp’.
Only the round base has slight corrosion all around at floor level, causing the white coating to be missing in a few spots there.
(visible in the photos; absolutely barely noticeable when the lamp is standing, and certainly not bothersome).
The switch has a small sticker with the text ‘interruttore’: Italian for ‘switch’.
That does indicate where this IKEA lamp has been.
Great as a reading lamp by your armchair, but also nice as an uplight for more subtle lighting of the room. Dimensions:
