Subtle square/cube table lamp called "ice cube" produced by Peill & Putzler Germany in the 60s/70s. Made of thick milk glass which gives nice diffused light. The size and soft light makes it ideal mood lighting. Also works well as a night light next to the bed. Or as warm atmospheric lighting in the living room. Of course this also depends on which bulb is put in, a brighter bulb would also make it possible to use this vintage square lamp as a reading lamp.
This lamp is made of heavy thick glass and looks like it is made of ice. The glass cube stands on a plastic base. Excl. bulb, personally I would put in a globe mirror bulb (E14).You can kind of see that the famous vintage Ikea ice cube lamp (IVIKEN) is based on this. Designed in the 90s.
