A beautiful, iconic vintage glass ashtray (also suitable for use as an atmospheric decorative bowl or jewelry tray) from the renowned Danish brand Holmegaard. This timeless, organic design was created in the mid-20th century by the famous glass artist Per Lütken and is executed in the sought-after, flowing 'Akva' (aqua blue) color scheme.
The object is made of heavy, thick-walled hand-blown glass. The flowing lines mimic the ripples of a water droplet and give the glass a brilliant interplay of light and lens effects. The object is in neat vintage condition and is originally hand-signed on the bottom with the recognizable maker's mark of Holmegaard/Per Lütken.
