For sale is a magnificent, characterful collector's item in the Hollywood Regency/Mid-Century style from the circa 1970s.
This exquisite table lamp brings luxurious vintage glamour to your home. The design, glaze, and elegant partial gilding are beautifully crafted in the iconic style of the Italian artist Domenico Zanotto (Nove/Bassano).
Origin & Quality: Made in Italy. The lamp bears the authentic "MADE IN ITALY" stamp on the underside of the base.
Material & Craftsmanship: A three-dimensional Buddha in the classic lotus position (Padmasana) with the famous Bhumisparsa Mudra (earth-touching gesture). Made of fine, glossy white ceramic and accented with a gleaming, genuine gold partial gilding.
The highlight: 100% original condition, including the original pleated fabric shade with gold fringe trim, which casts a particularly warm, atmospheric light.
Includes the original brass finial in an artful leaf shape.
Condition & Honest Patina: The lamp is in beautiful, collectible vintage condition. The original lampshade has a charming, authentic patina of age (light age spots on the top, see detail photo).
Face & Glaze: Slight gold wear on the hands and nose. The gold shines brilliantly (dark spots in the photos are simply light reflections).
