Product description
This is a vintage Hollywood Regency-style 'faux bamboo' armchair, characterized by a wooden frame artfully shaped and carved to resemble bamboo stalks.
These distinctive chairs (often also referred to as barrel chairs or tub chairs) became particularly popular in the 1960s and 70s and were produced by well-known quality brands such as Hekman Furniture, Baker Furniture, and Drexel.
This specific example features loose tufted cushions with a colorful, woven pattern.
The chair is in very good vintage condition, and the cushion is also still nicely filled and undamaged.
