This highboard is an original piece from the 1950s. It consists of two sections and is very well-made.
Exclusive features include the illuminated bar with numerous details and the display cabinet with colored glass trim.
The doors are made of birch veneer, while the body is crafted from makoré (African pearwood) veneer. White decorative trim adorns various components. The handles are made of brass. Four keys are included.
The upper section features a display cabinet on the left with a hinged glass door and decorative trim in gold, blue, and black. The cabinet includes two glass shelves. Gold trim is also applied to the door.
Behind the double doors on the right is a bar and additional storage space. Opening the right door activates the lighting. The bar includes a black glass shelf and two drawers lined with blue velvet. Two plastic holders provide a place to hang glasses in the bar.
The lower section consists of a left-hand swing door. A double swing door extends from the center to the right edge.

The piece of furniture is sturdy, functional, and undamaged. Signs of wear are present.
➡️ Refurbishment:
The piece has been thoroughly cleaned. Minor restoration work has been carried out, such as re-staining and varnishing the top of the lower section. The wood surfaces are intensively cleaned and treated with specially purified linseed oil in combination with an odorless and residue-free hydrocarbon solvent. This method is recommended by restorers.
