Hermes 3000 typewriter, Swiss made, from the Hermes Paillard factories in Yverdon, very good condition, vintage 1960s. Azerty keyboard, two-tone ribbon, not yet dry (tip: if the ribbon is dry, feel free to put it in a corner of the bathroom for a hot shower). The cogs are perfectly functional, as is the carrying case. Several functions, tabulation, keystroke force, ... Prized by journalists, they were the most famous portable typewriters in Europe, and the source of some of the greatest monuments of modern literature. Collectors sought them out for their mechanical perfection. They were found in the hands of ella maillart, hemingway, max frisch, hô chi minh, inoesco... dimensions: height -13.5cm- width -33cm- depth -35cm dimensions with case: height -17cm- width -34cm- depth -36cm- weight approx. -7.5 kg.
