This hand-woven Shiraz rug was made in Iran during the 1960s. It is dyed in shades of red, navy blue, beige, and black with subtle accents of white and made of natural wool on a cotton warp. This rug is hand-woven by artisans from southwestern Iran, it features a rich, geometric design based on rhombus and diamond motifs typical of the Fars region.
