A vintage hand-carved solid hardwood African round side table or plant stand with an organic collapsible and interlocking tripod base and rich mahogany/sapele reddish-brown finish. One available.
Crafted entirely from solid hard wood with a dark red-brown mahogany finish, this unusual piece combines the function of a small side table or pedestal stand with the presence of a sculptural object. The circular top sits securely in a carved twisted base with three interlocking legs and rounded support with notches - a dynamic, zoomorphic silhouette from every angle.
The level of craftsmanship is clear in its construction - sleek, and tribal inspired at the same time. The base is designed to dismantle from the top, and collapses for storage.

Condition
Good vintage condition with age-related wear consistent with age and use. Small indent marks, and variation to the finish are present. The table is very structurally secure, the table top sits very securely in the base.
