Beautiful transparent glass pendant lamp from the German lighting manufacturer Doria Leuchten, known for its high-quality lighting from the 1950s to the early 1980s, with a strong focus on glass design. A distinctive design object that looks stunning above a dining table or in the living room.
The lamp is constructed around an aluminum frame over which the glass shade hangs. When lit, the light diffuses both downwards and through the openings in the aluminum, creating an atmospheric and unique lighting effect.
The glass is thick and in very good condition. There is a very small flea bite on the edge that is barely visible. The aluminum shows minor signs of wear in the form of fine scratches, consistent with its age. The cord has recently been replaced. The lamp comes with a black plastic cylindrical ceiling rose.
