Product description
Original Gispen armchair from the 1960s, originating from Dutch office and government furnishings. This is the armchair version from the 114/214 series (Cordemeyer period).
The chair has a nickel-plated tubular steel frame with black armrests and a green upholstered seat and back. The slender frame gives the chair a light and elegant appearance, while providing surprisingly comfortable seating. This type was used in reception areas, meeting rooms, and reception areas and is known for its solid quality.
Beautiful as a desk or reading chair, but also as a characterful accent chair in a modern or 1930s interior.
Condition: Good vintage condition with minor signs of wear commensurate with age.
