Product description
Louis XVI-style gilded bronze "corbeille" chandelier with six arms of light, grouped two by two by a ribbon, with their rudenté bobèches ending in fine regular friezes, which rest on a central dish in orange pâte de verre, set in their finely chased latticework mounts and ending in the lower part with a gadroon and a stylized pinecone.
The central part features thick, transparent pâte de verre glassware decorated with flames. Three chains suspend the basket, decorated with imitation ship's ropes knotted in the center. The top of the chandelier is decorated with acanthus leaves, a stylized ball and an upside-down pinecone.
