Beautiful and authentic earthenware vase from the renowned French factory Faïencerie de Gien. Executed in the iconic "Renaissance" pattern with mythological figures and delicate arabesques on a deep cobalt blue background. Fully hand-painted and marked on the underside. Condition: Decoratively very beautiful, but has two glaze chips and a hairline crack on one of the handles (see detail photo). Price has been adjusted accordingly. Style: Classic / Italian Renaissance style / French vintage. Origin: Gien, France (approx. 1960-1971).
