Description:
Offered: A beautiful, authentic German beer mug (bierstein) in good condition. This mug is a classic collector's item, made in the second half of the 20th century in the famous German Westerwald region (most likely produced by King Werk or Marzi & Remy).
The mug features a beautiful, detailed relief in traditional cobalt blue and beige earthenware, depicting a walking couple in historical attire. The mug is fitted with a sturdy, beautifully crafted pewter lid that has minor damage (see photo).
