A French vintage walnut side table with an oval tray top and lyre-shaped legs from the mid-20th century. This French side table features an oval tray top, supported by two elegantly carved lyre-shaped legs. Playing the role of a stretcher, a narrow shelf connects the two legs to one another while the ensemble is raised on two inverted half-moon feet with a cross stretcher. The curvy silhouette of the table is perfectly balanced by the clean, straight lines of the sides. With its neoclassical influence, seen in the legs, and lovely patina, this side table, circa 1950, will be an excellent decorative accent in any home, whether placed in a living room, bedroom, or foyer.
