Product description
Charming vintage footstool (ottoman/stool) in the classic Louis XV style. The stool features beautiful, fine handcrafted petit point embroidery with a romantic floral motif in soft tones (pink and green). The elegant wooden base has beautifully curved legs and subtle wood carving. The edge of the seat is neatly finished all around with dark decorative nails. Felt pads have already been applied under the legs to protect your floor. This unique piece of furniture fits perfectly in an eclectic, bohemian, brocante, or classic interior. Ideal as a functional footstool with an armchair, or purely as a decorative object in the living room or bedroom. Condition: In beautiful and sturdy vintage condition. The woodwork shows light, characteristic signs of use consistent with its age, which contributes to the authentic appearance. The embroidery is still very neat and fresh in color.
