Product description
Genuine industrial-look folding table from AIR VIE, a long-defunct company dating from the 1950s, featuring a wooden top with 2 leaves and metal legs.
The corners are reinforced with riveted metal parts, adding character to the whole. The tubular legs fold inwards, and the 2 leaves close to form a suitcase that can be carried by a handle on the top.
This table was designed to be installed in the back of vintage cars during the 1st paid vacations.
The top shows some signs of age (scratches, patina), but remains solid and stable.
Its raw, functional design makes it a unique piece, ideal as an occasional table, nomadic desk or camping table for a retro ambiance, it's a piece with lots of cachet.
