Product description
Original Semi pendant lamp by Danish brand Fog & Mørup, designed in 1967 by Claus Bonderup & Torsten Thorup. This iconic lamp comes from the heyday of the Mid - Century modern era and also reflects influences of the space age style: geometric, futuristic and functional at the same time.
This is an authentic vintage specimen, produced around 1970. The diameter of 60 cm makes this the largest and most sought-after version within the Semi series - a striking eye-catcher over the dining table, in a loft or spacious hallway.
✅ Condition and features.
The lampshade is in good vintage condition, with some minor paint damages and a slight old damage/swirl (see photos). Typical signs of use for a lamp over 50 years old.
The original brand sticker is gone, but a clear print of it is still visible on the inside - recognizable for original Fog & Mørup products.
The socket works perfectly (E27 - standard size).
⚠️ The original plastic suspension piece at the top (against the ceiling) is damaged. This can easily be replaced with a universal ceiling cap or repaired by a handy copper.
