A mid-last century unusual model artful and sleek vase. Designed by the beelzijiDutch designer Floris Meydam. Made by the Royal Leerdam Glass Company in the Netherlands. Circa 1956. The solifleur is designed for a single flower, hand-blown with a spiral of small floating 3-dimensional bubbles circulating around the hollow center, creating an optical illusion as they reflect through the glass into the rest of the vase.
