This original theater lamp from the Rank Stand brand, which has served in the Amsterdam Frascati theater since the 1960s, is looking for a new location.
This eye-catcher with "flaps of light" which are called barn doors, stands on a solid tripod with which the studio lamp can be raised to more than 2.50 meters. It actually fits in any room, in the office, in a reception hall, in the living room or in the man cave.
The energy-consuming original light source has been replaced by an economical 7 Watt LED lamp with a warm colour, so that the old-fashioned light bomb - which you do not want to have as decoration in your room - has been transformed into a friendly and acceptable additional lighting.
The lamp is also equipped with new wiring and a new extra safe double pole switch.
The focus of the renewed LED lamp can be adjusted by means of a rotary knob on the back of the housing, so that the air beam can be adjusted.
This lamp can be seen as a nice object to have and, if you get tired of it, can earn its own money again. Or if you've had it for a few years, it can be sold for more.
This lamp naturally has its traces of use and, precisely to keep it authentic, has not been repainted.
With the barn doors open, the dimensions are 40 x 40 x 40 cm.It is in original used condition, with minimal traces of use. No gross damage.
