Elegant Model FD 164 lounge chair designed by Arne Vodder for CADO, Denmark, during the 1960s. Widely regarded as one of Vodder's most iconic designs, the FD 164 is celebrated for its sculptural solid teak frame, beautifully shaped armrests and refined proportions that exemplify Danish Mid-Century Modern craftsmanship.
The original solid teak frame is presented in excellent vintage condition. It has been carefully cleaned and refreshed, remains structurally sound and stable, and comes from a well-preserved home environment.
The cushions have been professionally reupholstered by a specialist upholstery workshop in a beautifully textured fabric in a rich rust-red tone, perfectly complementing the warm teak while preserving the chair's timeless character and exceptional comfort.
