This vintage ceramic vase is a 1960s creation from the East German manufacturer VEB Haldensleben.
It features a dark geometric relief design on a beige and orange base, typical of the "fat lava" style of that era.
Made in East Germany, the vase bears the characteristic "H" mark within a circle containing an inverted triangle.
A beautiful and classic example of mid-20th-century German art ceramics.

VEB Haldensleben, successor to Carstens Uffrecht, founded in 1845, became a major East German manufacturer after 1945, specializing in ceramic vases with soft colors and metallic glazes.
