This vintage souvenir spoon commemorates Budapest, featuring a distinctive enamel and gold-plated design. The piece is characterised by its detailed craftsmanship, typical of mid-century commemorative objects.
The spoon is constructed from gold-tone metal, likely brass or a similar alloy, finished with a gold plating. The bowl of the spoon displays a detailed enamel depiction of the Hungarian Parliament Building set against the Danube River. The finial is adorned with an enamel shield showing a floral motif of tulips, with the word 'BUDAPEST' clearly inscribed below. The stem features a twisted design, adding texture to the overall form.
