Authentic vintage chandelier by EMI Poljčane, produced in former Yugoslavia (present-day Slovenia) during the 1970s.
This striking four-light chandelier features a chrome-plated metal construction, warm turned wooden details and four original clear ribbed glass shades. Its sculptural form reflects the Space Age and Mid-Century Modern aesthetic of 1970s Yugoslav design.
The original EMI Poljčane manufacturer label is still present, including article number 1.6005.04.1, confirming the origin of the piece.
The chandelier is in very good vintage condition. The glass shades are well preserved, while the metal construction shows minor age-related wear. There are some light scratches on the chrome suspension rod and a small area of paint loss on the white ceiling canopy, as shown in the photos. These imperfections do not detract from the overall appearance of the chandelier.
