DOMUS 2435 – Large Vintage Pull-Down Pendant Light | Wood & Fabric | Mid-Century
A beautiful original DOMUS pull-down pendant light, model 2435, from the German lighting manufacturer DOMUS – light for living.
This large pendant light combines a generously sized, conical fabric shade in a warm natural/cream white with meticulously crafted wooden elements in a warm teak tone. A particularly distinctive feature is the elaborately designed height-adjustable pull-down mechanism with counterweight and cable guide.
Inside are three sockets, ensuring even illumination of the large shade and creating a pleasantly soft, atmospheric light.
The combination of natural materials, functional construction, and minimalist design is typical of DOMUS designs and strongly evokes the Scandinavian-influenced mid-century design of the 1960s and 1970s.
