A beautiful vintage sofa. This sofa, model 'Akantus', was designed by renowned Swedish designer Yngve Ekström. The sofa was produced by Swedese. A photo from the Swedese catalog has been added. This sofa is rarely offered for sale.
The sofa has a beautiful, organic design. The style, with its curved wood, is typical of Ekström. Besides its beautiful appearance, the sofa is very comfortable. The original wool upholstery gives the sofa a wonderfully soft seat.
The sofa is completely original and in very good condition, from the woodwork to the upholstery. There are some minor signs of wear here and there, consistent with its age.
