Vintage design AJ Royal pendant lamp, designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1957 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, is a timeless example of mid-century modern design. Produced by Louis Poulsen, this pendant lamp became a popular model in the 1960s.
The sleek black finish and innovative design provide direct light downward for intimate illumination, while the top provides soft upward light, creating a warm atmosphere. Overall length 140cm. Height of shade: 22cm. Diameter: 50cm (the largest in the series). Cord length: 120cm. Slight signs of use (very small, shallow scratches at the top). 4 x e27 socket. Marked.
