Rare Mid-Century desk by Störmer & Sohn Möbelfabrik. This desk is designed to be placed completely freestanding in the room. It features a sleek design with a drawer unit (two handleless drawers) on the left and a handy storage cabinet with a hinged door on the right. The back features a display cabinet with a sliding glass door. Ideal for displaying books, art, or design objects for guests sitting opposite you. There is also the option to create extra workspace using two extendable leaves. The desk is made of warm-colored walnut veneer with a beautiful wood grain. Thanks to the open, floating construction between the tabletop and the cabinets, the desk retains its spacious appearance. The black metal legs complete the iconic 1960s look. The desk is in good condition commensurate with its age. H: 73cm W: 150cm D: 75cm The extendable leaves measure approximately 40x40cm.
