Product description
This is a vintage ceramic dip bowl, manufactured by Potterie Oud Delft in the Netherlands during the 1950s-1960s. The piece is an authentic example of traditional Delft Blue pottery, entirely hand-painted with classic floral motifs. The bowl is made of high-quality ceramic and has a diameter of 21 centimeters and a height of 6 centimeters. The design is functional, with a raised ring in the center intended for serving a sauce or dip. The underside is marked with the stamp of Oud Delft, model number 835, the initials 'D.S.' of the plate painter, and the year letters 'CE', which confirm the production period. The object is in very good condition consistent with its age. The glaze shows a subtle and even craquelure, which adds character and authenticity to the piece. This bowl is a representative example of Dutch craftsmanship from the mid-twentieth century. Due to its timeless aesthetic and practical shape, this bowl is a refined addition to both classic and modern interiors. It can serve as a decorative object or be used functionally on the table.
