Elegant vintage pendant lamp executed in a white color and produced in the 1970s manufactured by Bilka, Denmark. The design is characterized by the double shade, which diffuses the light beautifully, creating a warm, atmospheric look. A timeless piece that will look great over the dining table as well as in the living room.
The design is clearly inspired by the Scandinavian design tradition, in which functionality and simplicity go hand in hand. Designers such as Poul Henningsen and other Danish luminaries during this period experimented with layered shades to reduce glare and create soft, even light distribution. This lamp is perfectly in keeping with that tradition and breathes the atmosphere of modern design from the 1960s and 1970s.
The lamp is made of metal and has a minimalist, clean design that blends effortlessly into a variety of interiors.
The lamp is in good condition, with only slight signs of use befitting its age.
