Danish vintage highboard, designed by Henry W. Klein and produced by Bramin (Bramming Møbelfabrik). This piece of furniture is a striking example of high-quality Danish modern design from the 1960s, in which clean lines, functionality, and craftsmanship take center stage.
Henry W. Klein was a Danish architect and designer known for his rational, understated design with a strong focus on functionality and proportion. In collaboration with Bramin, he designed various cabinets, sideboards, and tables characterized by a clear construction, refined details, and a timeless character. Bramin, founded in 1957 in Bramming, grew into an internationally acclaimed furniture manufacturer and was known for its consistent quality, careful use of wood, and durable finish. The furniture was widely exported and is highly prized today by collectors of Scandinavian mid-century design.
This highboard features multiple doors and drawers, thereby offering ample and practical storage options for tableware, books, vinyl records, or other home accessories. The slender lines, elegant legs, and warm teak grain give the furniture a calm yet refined appearance.
