Beautiful vintage Danish freestanding teak desk. This stylish desk is a fine example of Scandinavian design from the 1960s and combines elegant styling with a particularly practical layout. Thanks to its free-standing arrangement, the furniture looks beautiful not only from the front but also from the back, making it perfectly suited for placement freely in a room.
On the front, the desk features seven drawers, distributed across two drawer blocks, offering ample storage space for documents, office supplies, and personal items. At the back, there are three open compartments, ideal for books, files, or decorative objects. This makes the desk visually appealing from every angle.
The desk is crafted from teak and features beautiful integrated handles and slender tapered legs, characteristic of Danish design from this period. With a width of 140 cm, it offers a generous work surface without feeling bulky. The tabletop has been carefully sanded and the entire piece of furniture has been treated with a matching Danish oil, ensuring the teak has fully retained its warm appearance. A slight discoloration is still visible on the work surface. This is not immediately noticeable during use and does not detract from the appearance or functionality of the desk.
Otherwise, the furniture is in very neat vintage condition with only light signs of use appropriate for its age.
