Vintage Danish 'Panthella' floor lamp designed by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen. This iconic lamp, designed in 1971, is a beautiful example of Danish design and is known for its organic shapes and soft, diffused light. Verner Panton was one of the most influential designers of the 20th century and collaborated with several renowned companies, including Fritz Hansen and Vitra.
Throughout his career, Panton received numerous awards and accolades for his innovative designs, including the German Design Prize in 1972 and the Gold Medal of the Society for the Promotion of the Arts in 1989.
The Panthella floor lamp is in good condition with minimal signs of wear. The lamp has a white opal acrylic shade and a slender, trumpet-shaped base that provides a stable base. The diffused light creates a warm and inviting atmosphere in any room.
