For sale: Vintage Danish teak executive desk designed by GV Gasvig for Gasvig Møbler, Denmark, 1960s. Gasvig Møbler is a Danish furniture store founded in 1944 by Gunnar Gasvig. It began as a small family business and quickly grew into a respected name in the Danish furniture industry. GV Gasvig Møbler owes much of its success to its emphasis on quality, craftsmanship and timeless design. The desk is made of teak wood. The top appears to optically float. This desk has 3 drawers and and opening door. At the back the desk is finished with teak which allows it to be placed against a wall as well as free in the room. Fantastic typical Danish quality desk. The desk is in very good condition. Surface has been repainted in an appropriate Danish oil. Virtually no signs of use, only some superficial traces of use on the top. The large leg space makes the desk very suitable in combination with various office chairs. We also have our own office chair available. This is a replica of an Eames EA108. Asking price: 695 euro. Delivery possible. Feel free to ask about the possibilities.
