Danish vintage low chest of drawers with four drawers, crafted from rosewood and produced by Hundevad. This piece of furniture is more compact in size than a classic sideboard, but thanks to its low height and clean lines, it is perfectly suited as a TV unit, low storage cabinet, or stylish accent in the living room. The design is a fine example of high-quality Scandinavian design from the mid-20th century, in which functionality and the use of materials take center stage.
Hundevad & Co., founded in Denmark in 1930, was known for its high-quality furniture in teak and rosewood. The factory collaborated with various designers and placed great value on artisanal finishing, durable construction, and a balanced design language. Furniture made of rosewood, in particular, is highly appreciated today and is relatively rare due to the limited use of this wood species compared to teak.
This chest of drawers features four spacious drawers, ideal for storing media, documents, or home accessories. The deep, expressive grain of the rosewood gives the furniture a warm and luxurious look, while the clean lines and compact width ensure a calm and timeless appearance. Due to its modest size, the cabinet is easy to place and versatile.
