Original vintage Czechoslovak chandelier, most likely dating from the 1960s–1970s. A striking example of Czechoslovak Mid-Century / retro lighting design, combining turned wood, brass-toned metal details and eight original smoked glass decorative panels with a beautiful floral motif. The chandelier features a sculptural warm reddish-brown wooden construction with five light arms. Eight individually mounted geometric glass panels surround the upper section, creating a very distinctive appearance when viewed from different angles. The glass has a warm smoke/amber tint with white and gold-toned floral decoration. The chandelier has been preserved in its vintage condition and has not been refinished or heavily restored. The wood and metal therefore show natural signs of age, patina and previous use, which are part of the character of the piece.
