Product description
Original 1960s dining chair by UP Rousínov, Czechoslovakia. A beautifully proportioned mid-century design in warm beech, with a sculptural curved plywood backrest, softly rounded seat frame and elegant round legs. The restrained, organic form reflects the Scandinavian influence seen in Czechoslovak furniture of the period while retaining its own distinctive Central European character. The wooden frame remains in original vintage condition and the seat has been professionally reupholstered in dark blue fabric. Compact, comfortable and easy to place, it works beautifully as a dining chair, desk chair or occasional chair in both contemporary and vintage interiors.
