Product description
These vintage wall lamps by the renowned brand Erco Leuchten date from the 1960s or 1970s and represent a classic example of Mid-Century Modern lighting design. The design is characterized by a robust, geometric shape typical of architectural lighting from that period.
The fixtures are crafted with a black plastic base upon which a heavy, transparent glass shade rests. The glass features a distinctive, three-dimensional diamond pattern that ensures brilliant refraction and an atmospheric diffusion of light. The combination of the clear glass and the dark base creates a strong visual contrast. The lamps are designed for wall mounting, and the internal fittings are visible when the shades are removed.
The set is in very good condition, with the original materials and finishes well preserved. The glass shows no visible cracks, and the plastic bases are intact, testifying to the durable construction for which Erco is known.
These wall lamps look excellent in a hallway, living room, or bedroom with a vintage, industrial, or modern interior. They not only provide functional lighting but also serve as striking decorative elements on the wall.
A small piece of the black base is missing from the back (see photo), not visible when mounted.
