Red glass creamer and sugar bowl set, designed by Michael Bang and produced by Holmegaard in the 1970s.The well-designed, hand-blown opal glass set with its 1970s colors is in very good condition.Michael Bang (1942-2013) was the son of Jacob E. Bang, Holmegaard's first designer. In the 1960s to 1980s, Michael Bang was a designer at the Odense glass factory in Holmegaard, but moved with his family to Holmegaard in the 1980s.Michael Bang was quick-witted, fascinating and entertaining, and able to mesmerize an audience when the glass factory held lectures and presentations.Many of his products have now become collector's items.Size in cm. in.. :Sugar :H : 7 2.76, D : 8.5 3.35Creamer :H : 7 2.76 D : 6.5 2.56.
