Product description
Beautiful large vintage lamp from the 1960s-1970s by Le Dauphin France, labeled on the base. Classic Le Dauphin model, Panama Champagne. Earthenware base with cream and ivory crackle glaze, enhanced with gilt rings. Elegant baluster silhouette highlighted by two gilt rings. Functional.
The base measures approximately 28cm in height without the socket, with a maximum diameter of 20-22cm. With the lampshade, the total height is approximately 55cm, with a diameter of approximately 42cm. The earthenware is in very good overall condition, without cracks or chips. The original, slightly tinted crackle glaze blends with the finer, untinted natural crackle, which is not distracting and creates a lovely effect. The gilt rings have been regilded with ceramic paint, a careful and discreet decorative restoration. The lampshade shows some stains and signs of age.
