Osmund Hansen (1908-1995) was a Danish painter and graphic artist. He studied at Folmer Bonnén's painting school. He made his debut in 1935 at the Autumn Exhibition of Artists. His works are mainly geometric, expressive collages. The compositions are dominated by squares. Osmund Hansen has exhibited in many places in Denmark and abroad. He received several awards. Together with his wife, he founded the Osmund Hansen Foundation, which provides scholarships for young and promising visual artists to study.
