This 1960s Topform coffee table demonstrates the power of simplicity. A clean design that combines high-quality materials and thoughtful details, with a tranquil look that fits effortlessly into modern, eclectic, and mid-century interiors.
The base consists of two chrome-plated U-shaped legs. The top is positioned at a distance above the frame, creating a floating effect and giving the table a light and open silhouette. The tabletop and the storage space beneath it are crafted from rosewood combined with clear glass. The U-shaped wooden profile features a groove at the end edges, into which the glass top sits neatly. A second glass shelf beneath the top provides additional support and creates a discreet space for displaying home accessories or magazines.
The rosewood has been professionally restored by us. Old layers of treatment have been removed, the surface has been carefully sanded, and finished with a matte furniture oil. This beautifully brings out the deep, warm tones and characteristic grain of the wood. The chrome-plated legs have been carefully cleaned and polished, and the original protective caps are attached to the ends. The glass top shows minor signs of wear consistent with the table's age and character. The entire piece is in good condition and ready for immediate use.
Upon purchase, you will receive maintenance instructions and matching furniture oil to keep the piece in top condition.
