Stunning vintage coffee table in Lucite with a minimalist and airy design, created by the French designer Marc Micoud.
The imposing geometric structure with its beveled corners is made entirely of thick, translucent plexiglass (acrylic glass). This structure elegantly supports two transparent glass shelves (a main upper shelf and a second lower shelf). The interplay of light through these materials gives the table the illusion of floating in space, making it the perfect piece to add character to a living room without overwhelming its dimensions.
The table rests on wide, sturdy rectangular legs made of solid plexiglass.

The authenticity and value of this sculptural table are guaranteed by the superb cursive signature 'Marc Micoud', delicately engraved directly onto the transparent rim of the table.
Condition details: The table is in excellent overall condition. The plexiglass surface has been cleaned and restored by our team. As this is a vintage piece, it shows normal signs of wear (superficial micro-scratches). As is often the case with thick Altuglas structures from this period, there is a slight internal frosting effect (micro-stress cracks) in one area: this characteristic is typical of the natural aging of this fine material, attesting to its age and authenticity without compromising its structural integrity. The glass shelves are in very good condition.
