Vintage cocoon floor lamp model 'Lugano' designed by H. Klingele for the Dutch quality brand Artimeta, 1960s.
Beautiful rare lamp, a real one of a kind.
Black coated metal tripod base. This forms the skeleton of the lamp.
Attached to the skeleton are 2 regular E-27 fittings that can be turned on or off by means of the original brass switch on the cord.
The shade features a sprayed alkyd resin shade, also called a "cocoon. An ingenious method from the 1960s. Provides beautiful diffused light. The lamp has been used but has no damage. In overall clean condition.
Given its fragility, the lamp can be picked up or shipped via courier.
